You may want to sell more than one item in your shop - for example you may be selling T-Shirts, Jeans and Trainers. Each of these items have different ways of distinguishing between each product.
The t-shirts can be determined by colour and size, the jeans by waist size and leg length, and the trainers by shoe size.... and to further complicate things a red small t-shirt may cost five pounds, but a large green t-shirt may cost ten pounds!!
The good news is, you don't have to create lots of individual products for each variant of your product - you can do this in RedStar Energy using Product Types, Options and Attributes.
* If your product catalogue is configured to use product types, all items will need to be set to a Product Type even if it is only available in one size or colour.
How to create a product type, and assign some different options (i.e. size, colour) and attributes (i.e. large, small, red, green)
That's the first part of the job done, and you are now ready to add these values against your products.
Creating Product Options
PLEASE NOTE: Your website must be configured to use product options, if it isn't you need to contact us to discuss implementing this for you
